If your hardware device isn’t charging, follow the steps below. After each step, try plugging in your device again to see if it starts charging.

Inspect your charging cable and power source
- Check for visible damage like bent prongs, frayed wires, or broken connectors
- If you notice damage, stop using the cable or adapter and replace them

Test the cable and power source with another device
- If no visible damage is found, try using the same cable and power source to charge a different device
- If the second device also doesn’t charge, the issue is likely with the cable or power source

Use a wall outlet
- Plug the charging cable into a wall power outlet, not a laptop or USB hub
- Check that all connections are firmly in place between the cable, wall adapter, and outlet
- If needed, try a different outlet
