You can receive bitcoin into your Bitkey wallet by transferring it from another wallet, an exchange, or through an integrated partner (if available in your region).
- From the Bitkey app Home screen, tap
Receive.
- You’ll see your QR code and receiving address.
- (Optional) To verify your address on your hardware, tap Verify, then hold your unlocked Bitkey device to your phone. Your receive address will be displayed on your Bitkey device for you to review.
💡 Tip: For the strongest protection, compare your receive address at every step — on your Bitkey device, in the app, and on the sender's screen. The further upstream you verify, the better protected you are against tampering.
If you’re using a Bitkey (without a screen), on-device address verification is not available. - Choose how you want to share your address:
- Tap Share or Copy to send your address to the sender.
- If integrated partners are available in your region, select a partner and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the flow.
- If multiple partners are available, you may need to scroll horizontally to view all options.
- Once the transaction is broadcast to the blockchain, it will appear on your Bitkey Home screen as a pending transaction. It will update automatically once confirmed.

💡 Tip: To help protect your privacy, it’s recommended to generate a new address each time you receive funds. You can do this by tapping Refresh in the top-right corner of the receive screen.
