Bitkey sends notifications during the security waiting period of a Delay + Notify recovery. These are delivered as push notifications and through any other notification methods you’ve enabled (such as email or SMS).
These notifications are designed to protect you by giving you a chance to review and cancel a recovery you didn’t initiate.
- If you started the recovery yourself, no action is needed. You’ll be able to complete it once the waiting period ends.
- If you don’t recognize the recovery, take action immediately.
