Most Bitcoin transactions are received within the time frame selected when sending:
- Priority — about 10 minutes
- Standard — about 30 minutes
- Slow — about 60 minutes
However, transactions can take longer if the Bitcoin network is congested.
If the transaction is still pending
-
Make sure your Bitkey app is connected to the internet
This helps ensure your transaction status is up to date.
-
Check the transaction status using your Transaction ID (TXID)
Use a block explorer like mempool.space to see whether the transaction has been confirmed and when it may complete.

Consider increasing the transaction fee
If the network is congested, you may be able to pay an additional fee to speed up the transaction.

Check whether the recipient’s wallet shows pending transactions
Some wallets only display incoming transactions after they are confirmed on the blockchain. In those cases, the recipient may not see the transaction yet.
If the transaction is confirmed
-
Double-check the recipient’s bitcoin address
Make sure the transaction was sent to the correct address.
