You can sell bitcoin directly through the Bitkey app using one of our integrated exchange partners. To get started:
- From the Bitkey app Home screen, tap the
Sell button
- Enter the amount of bitcoin you’d like to sell, then tap Continue
- Review available quotes and choose a partner.
- You’ll be redirected to your selected partner to complete the sale. Follow the instructions in the partner’s app or website.
- Review the transaction details, including the amount and any network fees.
- Approve the action using your unlocked Bitkey device:
- Hold your unlocked Bitkey device to your phone.
- If prompted to confirm on your hardware, follow the instructions on your Bitkey screen, then hold it to your phone again to complete verification.
- Once submitted, the transaction will appear under Pending transactions until it’s confirmed on the blockchain
If your preferred integrated partner isn’t listed, you can transfer your bitcoin out of Bitkey to another wallet or exchange that supports selling.
