Any time a change is made to the beneficiary/benefactor relationship—by either party—it is reflected in both wallets.
If you're a benefactor
If your beneficiary removed themselves by selecting Remove benefactor, their name will no longer appear under the Beneficiaries tab in the Inheritance section of your app.
This can happen:
- After a claim is approved and the beneficiary initiates the funds transfer
- If the beneficiary simply chooses to end the relationship
If this change was unexpected, we recommend reaching out to your beneficiary directly.
💡 Tip: If you plan to continue using your wallet after a claim has been approved and funds have been transferred:

If you're a beneficiary

This may happen:
- If your benefactor declined a pending inheritance claim
- Or if they simply chose to remove you from their Inheritance plan
